Sitting down for a family holiday dinner in a new town at a restaurant that serves wonderful food (and delicious cocktails) is a real treat. But if you have had a busy day, little people might start to doze off, and little legs might protest heavily when it comes time to walk home.
(Has anyone else found themselves in an amazing new city, trapped in their room at 630pm with snoring kids!?! Ahhhhhh).
We enjoyed taking our bikes back out on the road for our Vietnam dinners. Knowing we could plunk Mac on Mac Ride for the return journey, even a short one, meant we could stay a stretch longer to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy an extra ice cream (beer:) before heading back to our hotel. We used our torches on our smart phones and our head torches for make shift bike lights and they worked a treat.
